Gotta keep it craftin’ and cumplin’, y’all. Houston First and Visit Houston won a ton of gold, silver and bronze Telly Awards for their World in a City campaign that celebrated Houston’s energy, culture, and diversity during the FIFA World Cup 2026 games this summer, and I got to make several paper stop-motion animations with them as a part of that. Here’s a behind the scenes glimpse of the work that went down. Who needs AI when you’ve got some torn paper scraps and a camera??
